Water, pool & spa
Water chemistry: Total chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, total dissolved solids (TDS), cyanuric acid, phosphates, salt, and calcium hardness.
Pool surroundings: Gate condition and self-latching operation, fencing, diving board, tile cleaning needs, and tile or grout condition.
Water flow: Auto-fill operation, return direction and aerators, skimmer weirs, baskets and covers, and cleaner operation, hoses, wear items, and vacuum-lock fittings.
Equipment & controls
Pumps & filters: Visible air or water leaks, pump lid O-ring and basket condition, startup, bonding and connections, filter air bleed, pressure readings, and cleaning or backwash locations.
Electrical, automation & lighting: GFCI and breakers, switch covers, timeclock and automation settings, voltage, and light operation and GFI testing.
Heaters & plumbing: Heater condition, leaks, pressure and temperature readings, gas-line and heater connections, bypass and check valves, sediment trap, and visible plumbing condition and labeling.
