The Work:

We provide weekly pool and spa services, which include:

  • Chemical balancing to maintain the pH between 7.2 and 7.8 ppm and chlorine between 1.0 and 4.0 ppm.

  • Testing for alkalinity and maintaining 80-120 ppm (70 ppm for salt pools).

  • Skimming the water surface to remove floating debris.

  • Brushing the walls as necessary.

  • Vacuuming as necessary.

  • Cleaning the skimmer and pump basket as necessary.

  • Backwashing and adding Diatomaceous Earth (DE) as necessary.

  • Performing tests for cyanuric acid (conditioner) to maintain between 30-50 ppm as recommended by the Health Department.

  • Performing tests for borates to maintain proper levels.

  • Checking your equipment weekly to ensure everything is running properly.

Service Exceptions:

We will attempt to provide all normal services during windy or rainy days, except for vacuuming and bottom netting due to safety hazards and visibility problems. We will not bring out a pole if there is lightning.

Monthly Charges:

The monthly charge for our services is due on the 1st of the month. We bill for 48 weeks of a full year, and take 4 weeks of vacation time and/or sick days. Vacation weeks will never be back to back, and we will notify you in advance by letter of upcoming vacation dates. We will adjust chemicals to compensate for the time missed. If more than one week is required, we will make arrangements so your service does not fall behind.

Service Additions:

Maintenance and/or repairs will be quoted as additional charges to the monthly service. We will notify you prior to any extra charges before work is done.

Filter Sanitation:

We offer filter sanitation for $125. We disassemble the filter, thoroughly clean the grids, and recondition with diatomaceous earth. This is generally done twice yearly, and you will be billed at the time of such service.

Mineral Treatments:

Mineral treatments including algaecides and algaestats are not covered by the standard monthly charge.

Salt Cells:

If you have a working salt cell, each bag of salt needed will be an additional charge of $12.

Owner's Responsibilities:

To ensure our services are efficient and effective, the pool owner must maintain the proper water level, remove the pool cover prior to service, pick up any dog poop before the service day, and maintain the overgrowth at the equipment area to ensure our safe access to your pool equipment.
